It's official: The Jeselnik Offensive will not return for a third season.
The network on Monday confirmed that the topical series hosted by stand-up comic Anthony Jeselnik has been canceled after two seasons.

The late-night series completed its second, shortened season in August and on Saturday, wrapped a three-month, multicity comedy tour sponsored by the Viacom-owned cable network.
During the final night of the tour, at the New York Comedy Festival, Jeselnik said from the stage that the series would not move forward and he had no future plans with the network.

Jeselnik in August 2011 inked a two-year development deal to star in and exec produce the series. The first season ran for 10 episodes, and the eight-episode second run saw its viewership dip considerably among adults 18-49.
The cancelation comes as Comedy Central has found success in the late-night landscape with its Chris Hardwick-hosted @Midnight talk show, which in its first week finished third among adults 18-49, trailing only The Daily Show With Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report, topping Conan, Chelsea Lately and more.
