The 8 p.m. hour got awfully crowded Thursday night with NBC's newly installed Voice results show, but The Big Bang Theory topped all other evening broadcasts with a 4.8 rating among adults 18-49 -- down four-tenths of a point from its last original.
The Millers (2.7 adults) rebounded six-tenths of a point with an original lead-in, while The Crazy Ones (2.1 adults) improved by two-tenths. Elementary (1.7 adults) was the only CBS series to dip, losing a tenth of a point. The network topped the night in the demo (2.5 adults rating) and total viewers (10.2 million).

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland (0.9 adults) continued to flounder on ABC, falling two-tenths of a point to a new series low. Grey's Anatomy (2.7 adults) moved up a tenth of a point from last week, while at 10 p.m., Scandal (2.7 adults) was down two-tenths for a season low. ABC averaged a 2.1 rating with adults 18-49 and 6.9 million viewers.
NBC's Thursday results could see adjustments later when NFL interruption in Washington, D.C., is taken into account, but The Voice results show was a boon to the lineup either way. Averaging a 2.7 rating with adults 18-49, the hour was down 21 percent from Tuesday for a series low, but lifted lead-out Sean Saves the World (1.7 adults) by six-tenths of a point to a series high. The Michael J. Fox Show (1.3 adults) was up two-tenths of a point, and Parenthood (1.5 adults) improved by three-tenths. NBC averaged a 1.9 rating with adults 18-49 and 6.6 million viewers.
The X Factor suffered most from the new head-to-head competition. The Fox series averaged just a 1.2 rating with adults 18-49, down eight-tenths of a point from the last regular Thursday telecast. Glee (1.5 adults) tied a series low, down significantly from the last tribute-boosted telecast. Fox brought a 1.4 rating with adults 18-49 and 3.8 million viewers for the night.
The Vampire Diaries (1.2 adults) moved up three-tenths of a point on the CW, and Reign (0.6 adults) held even, giving the net a nightly average of a 0.9 rating with adults 18-49 and 2.1 million viewers.
