In fact, he believes he’s earned the right for bigger projects.

“I want to continue working. I love the industry that I’m in. I enjoy the work that I do and it’s an honor to be able to entertain people,” he told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Thursday’s Access Hollywood Live.

“All I ask is that people give me a chance to do what I feel I should be doing, which is to be in A-List films,” he continued.

The actor, who has numerous recent credits to his name, feels his talents need to be seen by more people.

“I shouldn’t be doing independent films after all these years,” the “Coreyography” author explained.

The 42-year-old actor was quick to say he does enjoy making independent movies on occasion.

“Yes, I love doing them for the art, but not all the time,” he said. “I should have a chance to be able to do what I feel I should be doing.”

Adding, “I’ve earned it and I’ve proven it.”
