Kim Kardashian says she’s NOT a member of the Illuminati after her birthday wishes for friend Brittny Gastineau inadvertently raised suspicions that she is linked to the secret society conspiracy theorists believe controls the world.
Confused?
Well, on Wednesday, Kardashian posted an Instagram message that read, “Happy Birthday to my best friend @brittgastineau We’ve shared soooo many memories over the past years! I love you! #RideorDie.”
The accompanying collage (see below) featured pictures of the two women together — but seemed to evoke the infamous eye-in-a-pyramid image that’s commonly associated with the Illuminati.
A ton of fans and observers commented on the perceived coded message, believing that Kardashian had subtly indicated a connection to the lluminati.
This was news to her.
On Thursday, she posted a confused response to the outpouring of Illuminati messages, explaining, “I posted a IG collage for my bff @BrittGastineau & people say its the illuminate!”
She explained, “What is the illuminate? A religion?… I’m a Christian. A cult?… not into that sorry! It had an eye on it, which reminded me of Britt bc her company ‘eye on glam’ & reminds me of against evil eye bracelets we wear. So sorry guys it was just a cool design I saw on one of those IG collage apps.”
There you have it.
Kim Kardashian does not secretly rule the world.
At least not through the Illuminati.
