Scandal star Kerry Washington hits the Saturday Night Live stage this weekend.
With the help of SNL regular Taran Killam, Washington had some fun taking a jab at her high-stakes ABC political drama, where she plays political fixer Olivia Pope.
"It's going to be a great show," Killam says stone-faced, before Washington points out what his actual line should be ("It's going to be a wonderful show"). Then, in his best Scandal impression, Killam -- lowering his voice -- makes a dramatic declaration, "Well, I don't follow the rules," before he tries to win her over.

In another promo, Killam does his best Eminem impression, while Washington takes on Killam. Her perception of the SNL castmember? That he likes to dance, twirl his hair and powder his face.
Other highlights from the promos include Killam revisiting a seventh-grade bully, Killam revealing that he and the closed-caption guy are in a fight, a gag with milk and spicy peppers, and Killam asking Washington if he can marry her.
Washington hosts SNL for the first time with musical guest Eminem.
Saturday Night Live airs at 11:30 p.m. PT/ET on Saturday on NBC.
