Restless Road received a standing ovation on Tuesday’s “X Factor,” the first live episode of the season.
Following the band’s first-ever performance, they sang a country version of Katy Perry’s “Roar” — and drove the audience and judges wild.
“Wow! What a way to close the show,” exclaimed Demi Lovato. “That was amazing.”
Paulina Rubio pointed out the trio’s chemistry, adding, “The song was a great choice. I’m a fan already. You guys nailed it.”
And Kelly Rowland could barely stay in her seat.
“I’m totally buying every Restless Road record. I’m going to the concerts. I’m going to be the one in the first row saying ‘pick me pick me,’” she gushed.
And mentor Simon Cowell, who was moved to his feet, lauded the group’s “tremendous talent.”
Restless Road “could actually win this whole show,” he added later.
