LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- It was an unexpected and tearful elimination for one celebrity on Monday night’s “Dancing with the Stars.”
(SPOILER ALERT: This story contains the results of Monday’s “DWTS.”)
Bill Engvall may have had the lowest judges’ score — 74 points — on Monday night, but he and partner Emma Slater did not go home, thanks to the viewers’ vote.

Instead, in Week 7, it was Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, who was sent back to the “Jersey Shore,” taking her dance partner, Sasha Farber, out of the competition alongside her.
The announcement that she was going home was clearly a shock for Snooki, who seemingly did not want to say her goodbyes on camera. She was eventually coaxed to the mic, as she wiped away tears.

“I can’t even talk right now, but I love everybody here, so it sucks,” she said, crying.
Members of the cast looked surprised by Snooki’s elimination. She was actually above Bill and Emma as well as Leah Remini and Tony Dovolani on the leaderboard, with a solid 84 points (a score tied by Jack Osbourne and Cheryl Burke).
Tom Bergeron, the show’s host, noted it was a tough elimination.
“This is one of the hardest ones we’ve had to deal with in a while,” he said.

As for the competition on Monday night, it was fierce, but once again, Amber Riley and Derek Hough rose to the top, taking home 91 points.
The rest of the pack was fairly evenly spaced out. Brant Daugherty and Peta Murgatroyd moved into the second spot, helped by their 27 point jive earlier in the evening (they ended the night with 88 points).
Elizabeth Berkley Lauren and Valentin Chmerkovskiy landed in a tie for third with Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff as both pairs earned 86 points.
“Dancing with the Stars” continues next Monday at 8/7c on ABC when Cher will fill in for Len Goodman as a guest judge. She will also perform.
