Piers Morgan, Sarah Palin Start ‘Shambolic’ Feud Over Satirical Article

As with Rupert Murdoch and Bill O'Reilly, it doesn't look like Sarah Palin will take up Piers Morgan's offer to appear on his CNN show. Palin and Morgan escalated a social-media feud over a satirical blog post on Friday.

The spat began when the Piers Morgan Live  host knowingly tweeted a link to a Daily Currant article headlined "Sarah Palin Claims Jesus Celebrated Easter." The Currant, like The Onion, is a satirical news website.

The former vice presidential candidate responded Friday on her Facebook page: "Oh dear Piers, thank you so much for all your invitations to appear on your shambolic show, including the adoring message you sent. But is it still any wonder why I've politely responded that I'm too busy doing, um, er ... pretty much anything to accept the invite?"

The note was posted along with a picture of Palin standing over a hunted bear and a link to a Breitbart article about the satirical post.

Piers, naturally, capitalized on the post.

That appearance seems unlikely. In June, Palin rejoined Fox News channel as a paid contributor on network shows like Fox & Friends as well as the Fox Business Network.
