Andy Reid and his mustache.
The Kansas City Chiefs were the worst team in the NFL last year. They couldn't defend. They couldn't score. Each week they looked increasingly inept and apathetic. Exit Romeo Crennel, enter Andy Reid. The former Eagles coach wasted little time finding a new job after being given the boot in Philadelphia and he's wasted even less time in turning around the Chiefs franchise. Today, their defense is arguably the most intimidating in the NFL and their offense is putting up points. Their 6-0 record is tied for the best in the league with division rival Denver Broncos. Oh, and in case you were wondering, Andy's mustache looks fantastic in red and gold.

They're the type of franchise you want to see do well.
The Kansas City Chiefs are old-school NFL. They have good ownership, loyal fans, classic uniforms and plenty of tradition. While they are frequently competitive, they haven't been to the Super Bowl since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970. They're the sixth-smallest market in the NFL, yet they are always near the top of the league in attendance. The Chiefs being competitive is good for football.

The loudest fans in the NFL.
Seattle and their "12th Man" always gets praised for having the loudest fans in the NFL, but their stadium was built in 2002 with the sole purpose of amplifying sound. Earlier this season the Seattle fans broke a Guinness World Record for crowd noise, but this past weekend the Chiefs broke the month-old record — and they did it in Arrowhead Stadium, which was built in 1972, making it the sixth-oldest stadium in the NFL .
