Olivier Martinez has confirmed his engagement to Halle Berry.
The French actor, who was in Miami on Saturday to promote his new restaurant, Villa Azur, responded to questions of whether he and Berry are engaged with “Yes, of course it’s true.”
He did, however, slam reports that he had popped the question with a Gurhan-designed ring.
“There is a jeweler taking credit for doing the ring and it’s a lie! They have nothing to do with this,” Martinez told Miami.com.
The actor reveals that the emerald-and-gold ring he gave Berry was instead designed by Paris jeweler Robert Mazlo, who he called “a real artist.”
