Jonah Hill didn't win the Academy Award for best supporting actor, but as they say -- it's an honor just to be nominated.
The 21 Jump Street actor poked fun at his "great year" during his opening monologue on Saturday Night Live March 10. Showing a pre-taped highlight reel of his prep for the NBC sketch show, Hill first asked Andy Samberg to fetch him a Diet Coke. "I'm a little parched from all the red carpet banter," Hill explained. "Oscar nom stuff."

"I think after the Oscar nomination, some were worried I would take myself too seriously," Hill, 28, said in his confessional, "but I'm not too fancy to let loose and have fun."
Hill also had an awkward exchange with Kristen Wiig in the dressing room. "I feel so weird. Do you know that feeling like you were just nominated for an Oscar?" Hill asked the Bridesmaids star. "What am I talking about? Of course you don't know that feeling!"

"Actually, I was nominated, remember?" Wiig says. "For writing best original screenplay."
"That is so cute. Is that before or after the visual effects one?" Hill asks, igniting a competitive back-and-forth.
Hill eventually begins to realize his ego has gotten out of control when he calls up his Moneyball costar Brad Pitt, only to discover the 48-year-old's phone number is no longer in service. Multiple Academy Award winner Tom Hanks also gets in on the fun (watch the clip above).
