Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder may have broken up, but they still share a mutual love of the actor’s dog, Nietzsche.
On Tuesday, the exes reunited in Atlanta to help Nietzshe give birth to eight adorable puppies.

Somerhalder shared a photo of his dog on Twitter, writing, “Live from the whelping box In Atlanta! Panting, pushing, contractions.”
Dobrev later posted a pic of the mom with her new puppies, captioning the shot, “Birthing little Nietzsches… Such a beautiful + equally terrifying thing to witness… The miracle of life :) #Wow.”
The pair, who’s in Atlanta to film the new season of “The Vampire Diaries,” have remained on friendly terms since their split last spring.
