You may have read that the Olympic flame went out in Russia . A man with a Zippo lighter saved the day.
Shavarsh Karapetyan, 17-time world champion finswimmer, was carrying the Olympic torch Sunday in Moscow when it went out. A roadside official happened to have a Zippo lighter, and reignited the sacred flame, thus saving the Sochi Winter Games.
