Seth Meyers takes over NBC's Late Night in a little over four months and David Letterman couldn't help but talk about it.
Letterman, who hosted Late Night from 1982-93 before jumping over to CBS' Late Show, offered his thoughts about changing the name of the show after Meyers said the Late Night name will be kept intact.
"You think we should change it back to The Tomorrow Show?" Meyers asks. The Tomorrow Show was a late-night talker that ran on NBC from 1973-82 and followed The Tonight Show.

"Why not?" Letterman says. "Why not Today show, Tonight, Tomorrow? That's the perfect trilogy, really. I'm giving this to you free! I'm putting a nail in my own coffin here!"
Meyers joked: "I wish we talked yesterday, we just printed the mugs."
Letterman revealed that the Late Night name, which he originated with his NBC show, came "from a list." Continuing to fight the good fight, the veteran host -- who extended his contract with CBS through 2015 -- kept bringing the point home: "But the better name is The Tomorrow Show."
Meyers takes over Late Night on Feb. 24, 2014.
