“Lindsay Lohan Considering Opening Her Own Rehab — Named After Her!” reads the headline of a RadarOnline story.
According to the webloid, the starlet wants to start a treatment center, and “has even sounded out potential investors.”
“Lindsay really wants to help other people and she’s talked to some of her wealthy friends who are sober about the prospect of opening up a rehab center,” a so-called “insider” tells RadarOnline.
The outlet’s supposed source adds, “She loves the idea and really believes that if her name is attached to it, it will help draw attention to sobriety.”
RadarOnline further claims that Lohan “wants the facility to be based in New York City.”
“It may never happen… but she is totally behind the idea and wants to give back after all that she has been through,” says the blog’s tipster.
It’s pretty lame of RadarOnline to spread an unsubstantiated story and then attempt to cover itself with the excuse that Lohan’s alleged plans may never come to fruition.
Of course, the report is completely off base.
A rep for Lohan tells Gossip Cop it’s 100 percent “not true” that she wants to open a rehab center.
