Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party is returning for a second helping.

VH1 has renewed the unscripted series from Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart for season two, it was announced Monday.

The pickup comes just three weeks into the show's run. The series opened to a 1.5 rating among adults 18-49 and 3 million total viewers in live-plus-three numbers.

"Martha and Snoop are the modern day 'Odd Couple' and the reigning King and Queen of pop culture," MTV, VH1 and Logo president Chris MccCarthy said. "Wait until you see what happens in season two.”

The series sees the unexpected pair invite over various celebrity friends for a weekly dinner party. Guests for season one include Seth Rogen, Wiz Khalifa, Rick Ross, Jamie Chung, 2 Chainz, Naya Rivera, Ashley Graham, Jason Derulo, 50 Cent, Fat Joe, Kathy Griffin, Kelis, Ashlee Simpson & Evan Ross, Keke Palmer and Robin Thicke, among others.

“I hoped that people would find our new show a pleasant change from the cut-throat competition shows that food television has evolved into. Time for a change – food should be fun and enjoyable, involving friends and family. I am pleased that Snoop and I will be able to bring our various styles of cooking to a broader audience.” stated Martha Stewart.

Added Snoop Dogg: "That's right, me and my homegirl Martha will be back for another season and we can't wait. Thanks to all the fans who tuned into Season 1. If ya'll thought this season was fun, wait 'til you see what we have cookin' up next for ya.”

The series hails from exec producers Stewart & Kim Miller Olko for Sequential Brands Group, Snoop Dogg and Ted Chung for Merry Jane and SallyAnn Salsano for 495 Productions, along with Nina L. Diaz, Trevor Rose, Paul Ricci, Fernando Mills and Paula Aranda for VH1.

Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party comes in the midst of a reinvention for VH1. The Viacom cabler's upcoming series include a new season of America's Next Top Model, premiering next month, game show Hip-Hop Squares, a late-night talk show from Marc Lamont Hill and scripted series The Breaks, based on the network's original film of the same name, and The View-inspired drama Daytime Divas.

Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party airs Mondays at 10 p.m. on VH1.
