Happy holiday shopping weekend, everybody! As we all know, this upcoming weekend (including Black Friday!) is the biggest retail extravaganza of the year, which is why we asked our resident shopping guru, Monique Meneses, to break down the best strategies for Us. See it all in Red Carpet Daily, presented by DirecTV!
The Best Black Friday and Cyber Monday Deals of 2016
Meneses spoke to retail expert Sara Skirball from RetailMeNot.com, who served Us her three best tips: 1. Come prepared with a plan. You'll miss the best sales just going wild. 2. Take advantage of all five days of savings, from Thanksgiving Day to Cyber Monday. Each day has its own unique sales, and you want to make the most of each. 3. Sign up for deal alerts, so all the information you need goes straight to your phone.
And last, but not least, is Skirball's best two-step trick: First, buy a discounted gift card at the store of your choice before the sale starts. Then, during the sale, use that card to shop sale items to double your savings. Game changer, no?
