Russell Crowe NOT Planning Wedding With Terri Irwin, Despite Report

Russell Crowe and Terri Irwin are NOT secretly dating, nor are they planning to get married, despite a bogus webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”

Without bothering to do any fact-checking, HollywoodLife has recycled a false story from the Australian magazine, New Idea, which wrongly reports that Crowe is in a relationship with the widow of “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin. A so-called “source” tells the publication, “Terri is so nervous about going public with her romance with Russ, but she doesn’t want to hide it any longer.” The supposed insider further claims the two would “love to get married” and are planning a “small, intimate ceremony in late 2018.”

The repeatedly discredited website adds, “It seems as though Terri and Russell have been an item for a while and have been keeping it a secret from their fans all over the world.” But Gossip Cop checked in with a rep for Crowe, who exclusively assures us the actor isn’t dating Irwin, and the story is simply “not true.” He was close friends with Irwin’s late husband, and has remained good pals with her as well, but they aren’t an item. In fact, Gossip Cop previously corrected RadarOnline when it also falsely claimed Crowe and Irwin were a couple. There was no truth to the report back then, and nothing has changed in the time since.
