Nicole Kidman does NOT make Keith Urban wear lifts in his shoes so he’ll appear taller, despite a ridiculous tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”

According to the National Enquirer, the statuesque actress is supposedly uncomfortable with towering over her shorter husband. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “She told Keith he must wear shoe lifts, like she did to Tom Cruise, because she doesn’t want to keep looking down at him. It gives her a neck ache.”

The outlet’s dubious further purports that Kidman forces Urban to wear lifts “to all the red carpet events,” adding, “It’s so funny because she refuses to wear flats, which adds several more inches to her height. It’s pretty selfish because she doesn’t meet him halfway by wearing shorter heels.”

But Gossip Cop checked in with a reliable source close to the situation, who laughed off this tall tale before exclusively assuring us it’s simply “not true.” Of course, we’ve repeatedly called out the Enquirer for making up stories about the actress and her husband, so this latest fabrication comes as no surprise.
