Naya Rivera Divorce: Splits From Ryan Dorsey

Naya Rivera and Ryan Dorsey are divorcing. The former “Glee” actress filed for divorce last week after two years of marriage.

Rivera and Dorsey married in the summer of 2014 in what was seen as a surprise wedding, as Gossip Cop reported. At the time, few knew the two were even a couple. They went on to welcome their only child, a baby boy named Josey, in the fall of 2015.

The little boy just turned one in September. Now Rivera is seeking primary physical custody of her son in the wake of her breakup with Dorsey. Her divorce filing, dated November 15, indicates she’d like him to have visitation rights.

Earlier this year, Rivera revealed the background of her relationship with Dorsey in her memoir, Sorry Not Sorry: Dreams, Mistakes, and Growing Up. In the book, the star confessed that she and Dorsey had previously dated, but she broke up with him in 2010 as her fame grew thanks to “Glee.” Shortly after, however, Rivera discovered she was pregnant with his baby, and secretly had an abortion.

Rivera went on to become engaged to Big Sean, from whom she then split in early 2014. She and Dorsey subsequently reunited, and married just three months later. Gossip Cop has reached out for comment. Rivera and Dorsey are pictured above back in January.
