Kate Middleton and Camilla Parker Bowles are not in a feud, despite a report about an alleged fight between the two royals. Gossip Cop can debunk the story.
“Royal Insult — Princess Kate’s Cruel Comparison For Camilla,” reads the headline of an article published Friday on the National Enquirer website. It’s said in ridiculous language, “Cranky Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall — the pissy-puss royal in-law who’s an OUTlaw as far as Kate Middleton’s concerned — just unraveled their already rocky relationship like an old sweater!”
According to a supposed “royal spy,” “Camilla’s constantly stirring the pot and pissing Kate off — this time dissing her for allowing teeny Princess Charlotte to be seen and photographed wearing big brother George’s old cardigan sweater. Camilla complained to hubby Prince Charles that it makes his princess look like a pauper!”
The alleged tipster goes on, “When Kate heard that vicious shade-toss, she smacked back at the old sow, growling that her baby, a true princess, already shows a magnificent flare for fashion — just like her grandmother,” the late Princess Diana. But Gossip Cop couldn’t help but be suspicious of this tale since the U.S.-based supermarket tabloid is known to have horrible royal sources.
This is, after all, the same outlet that absurdly claimed in September that little Charlotte is the reincarnation of Diana. That’s kind of blatantly false silliness we’re dealing with here. Now Gossip Cop is told that this new piece about the two Duchesses is just more of the same, and no such fight (over a sweater, of all things) ever happened.
