Frankie Jonas, the youngest Jonas Brother, was picked up by cops and cited for pot on Tuesday. The bust, which Gossip Cop is told wasn’t an actual arrest, took place in Nashville.
The 16-year-old was outside of a convenience store when the incident took place. It’s not clear what exactly happened, but he was cited by police for possession of marijuana. Jonas has since been released from custody.
During the Jonas Brothers’ heyday, the guys’ younger brother was affectionately known as the “Bonus Jonas.” As much as fans worshipped the three siblings, they also had an interest in the littlest Jonas, too. And over the years, supporters have watched him grow from a young boy to a handsome teen who’s made appearances on “Jonas L.A.” and “Married To Jonas.”
A Teen Choice award winner, he went to prom earlier this year, has already graduated high school, and recently started college. Nick Jonas, in particular, has spoken highly of him in a number of interviews, saying how proud he’s been watching his baby brother grow up. And, during a September “Today” appearance, Nick discussed how his hazing movie Goat has affected them.
“My little brother started college this year, and I said, ‘Look, man. Before you decide to pledge a fraternity, I’d like you to see this movie,'” Nick explained. “Just as a bit of an educational tool [showing] the worst case scenario.”
No word if there was a conversation about drugs, too. The famous brothers are all pictured above in 2012.
