Saturday Night Live” cast member Pete Davidson slammed Donald Trump on Instagram, writing “f**k you bitch,” after the president-elect criticized the show’s depiction of him. Fans are now reacting to Davidson’s pointed remark. See reactions below.

As Gossip Cop reported, this week’s cold open of “SNL” featured Alec Baldwin playing Trump and depicted the president-elect as being in over his head and ill-equipped to run the country. The show also mocked Trump’s campaign promises and cabinet meetings. On Sunday, Trump tweeted, “I watched parts of @nbcsnl Saturday Night Live last night. It is a totally one-sided, biased show – nothing funny at all. Equal time for us?”

Davidson later posted a screenshot of Trump’s comment on Instagram, and added the caption, “Never been more proud. F**k you bitch.” Many fans and followers of the comedian are leaving comments on his post, with some supporting the sentiment and others denouncing it. One appreciative fan wrote, “Good on you! Proud of you too! DT isn’t a man, and he’s a whiny toddler…except he’s dangerous. He’s both terrifying and embarrassing.” Another person said, “I love you! You rock! Hugs to you for telling him that. It was an amazing show and skit.”

One of Davidson’s admirers expressed, “Best possible answer! Haha,” while another added, “I wish I could like this a million times.” And one fan expressed, “My sentiments exactly. Keep doing what you’re doing!!” But there were also those who opposed the “SNL” star’s bashing of the president-elect. One detractor said, “Making it harder and harder for me to like you with each post Pete. Please stick to comedy.” And another person posted, “Damn you salty as hell Pete. Move on bro, your side lost fair and square. You plan on crying about it forever?”

Meanwhile, one follower argued, “you guys can be pretty bias about certain things, which I assume are for the ‘NBC/rich status quo actor agenda,'” while another called Davidson a “disgusting libtard.” And another person felt the comedian’s remark represented “the very thing you hate,” adding, “two wrongs don’t make a right. Model kindness if it’s kindness you want.”
