Joe Jonas and DNCE performed “Body Moves” on “GMA” on Wednesday. Check out the video below!
“Body Moves” was released in September as the lead single from the group’s self-titled debut album. Jonas co-wrote the track, and produced it as well. As Gossip Cop reported at the time, DNCE previously performed the song on the “Today” show back in August.
But this is an especially exciting time for the band. The new studio album, which came out just last week, was long-awaited, with Jonas explaining at one point that the release was delayed because they wanted to get it right. And now they’ve spent the last few days promoting it.
That’s included appearances on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” as well as “Live With Kelly.” Jonas actually sat in as Kelly Ripa’s co-host on Wednesday’s show, and although it aired after “Good Morning America,” it was actually pre-taped due to the Thanksgiving holiday. And, while in New York City, DNCE also went to Times Square and Union Square to hand out autographed CDs.
They went on to tell fans, “GET READY TIMES SQUARE WERE PERFORMING ON @GMA THIS MORNING!! SEE U BRIGHT AND EARLY #TEAMDNCE.” The performance ended up taking place just a few hours before news broke that Jonas’ youngest brother, Frankie Jonas, had been busted for pot. Watch below.
