truTV's foray into scripted originals continues.
The Turner-owned cable network has given a series order to I'm Sorry, a half-hour comedy from Andrea Savage (Veep), it was announced Wednesday.
Created by and starring Savage, the series follows seemingly confident, together comedy writer, wife and mom Andrea (played by Savage), who comically exposes her inner immaturity and neuroses through unexpected life situations. Tom Everett Scott (Southland) and newcomer Olive Petrucci also star as Andrea's straightlaced husband Mike and their inquisitive daughter Amelia, respectively.

Jason Mantzoukas (The League), Judy Greer (Arrested Development) and June Squibb (Nebraska) are also set to guest-star in the premiere episode.
Savage exec produces I'm Sorry with Jessica Elbaum, Jason Zaro, Billy Rosenberg, Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer. Kablamo! and Gloria Sanchez Productions will produce the series, which will bow in 2017 with a 10-episode first season.

truTV ventured into scripted in 2015 with comedy Those Who Can't, which has been renewed for a second season. The network also has the forthcoming scripted project Bobcat Goldthwait's Messed Up Stories.
Savage's other credits include Veep, Episodes, The Hotwives of Las Vegas and Step Brothers. She is repped by CAA.
