Taylor Swift is NOT dating oil heir Mike Hess, despite an inaccurate tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”
As Gossip Cop reported, a video emerged over the summer showing Swift kissing Hess on the cheek at his Hamptons birthday party. It was nothing more than an innocent peck, despite many outlet’s falsely claiming at the time that she was cheating on then-boyfriend Tom Hiddleston. Now, OK! has now picked up a bogus story from Heat magazine, which wrongly alleges the singer has begun “going on dates” with Hess.
The publication’s supposed insider claims Swift has been meeting up in secret with Hess, but “she’s taking it slow” because she believes he’s “boyfriend material” and doesn’t want to rush the relationship. Gossip Cop, however, checked in with a reliable source, and we’re exclusively assured us Swift and Hess aren’t dating. Our impeccable informant tells us the tabloid’s story is “not true.”
In fact, OK! is the same tabloid Gossip Cop busted for falsely reporting Hiddleston accused Swift of cheating on him with Hess following the party in the Hamptons. But, as we noted, it was nothing more than the singer giving the birthday boy a peck on the cheek. Much like that far-fetched claim, the magazine’s latest insinuation that there’s more going on now between Swift and Hess is completely false.
As an aside, the tabloid makes a big deal about calling Swift “boy crazy” in its article, but the reality is she’s only dated two men in the past four and a half years. Far be it from Gossip Cop to call the reference sexist; however, there are stars like Justin Bieber, who’s been romantically linked to loads of women this past year alone, and no one calls him names, except for maybe “stud.”
