Ryan Lochte and his partner Cheryl Burke danced a quickstep to theme song of “The Muppet Show” on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars” on the competition show’s “TV Night.” Watch the video below.

As Gossip Cop reported, Lochte’s premiere on “Dancing With The Stars” was marred when two protestors, Barzeen Soroudi and Sam Satoodeh, stormed the stage to voice their anger over his inclusion on the show. The two men, who were charged with trespassing, later stated they were protesting Lochte because he “embarrassed Americans” at the Rio Olympics with his story about being allegedly robbed at gunpoint at a gas station. Soroudi and Satoodeh were joined by a handful of others in the audience who booed the Olympic swimmer and wore T-shirts with Lochte’s name in a red circle with a slash across it.

Despite the scary interruption, Lochte and Burke received 24 out of 40 points for their foxtrot to Michael Buble’s “Call Me Irresponsible.” Carrie Ann Inaba told the Olympian, “You brought your best to this ballroom.” Meanwhile, Len Goodman expressed, “You’ve performed to a high level and people should be proud of you.”

On “TV Night,” Julianne Hough expressed, “The concept was amazing,” but she “saw so many mistakes.” Bruno Tonioli felt it was “fun” and warned Lochte to “keep the positive energy.” And Inaba said she thought the Olympian seemed to be enjoying himself more during the second week.

For Lochte and Burke’s quickstep, the two again received 24 out of 40 points. Check out the video below of Ryan Lochte and Cheryl Burke’s routine to the theme song of “The Muppet Show” on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars.”
