The children’s party, which was attended by several Canadian military families, was a kid’s dream, and George, 3, and Charlotte, 16 months, had a blast with all the activities. The young royals were treated to a petting zoo with two miniature horses, a goat, a sheep, quails and a rabbit. There was also a puppet show and a guitar player, bubble-making machines and refreshments.

"Charlotte headed straight for the balloons the second Kate put her down (she's walking!), and she rubbed her hands along the balloon arch before hugging it,” Scobie observed of the littlest royal.

George and Charlotte even showed off a little sibling rivalry. George grabbed an orange fish-shaped bubble gun and started firing at his younger sister.

George sat on a miniature horse, while Charlotte loved petting the black-and-white rabbit.
Holding Kate’s hand, Charlotte briefly looked at the horses too before going back to stand by her beloved balloons. Then, a dog grabbed her attention, and she stroked his back before sitting on him and bouncing up and down.
