Are Khloe Kardashian’s friends “concerned” about her romance with Tristan Thompson? That’s what two tabloids are claiming. Gossip Cop can reveal what’s going on.
“Get It Together! Khloe Kardashian Has Friends Concerned Over Her Choice In Men,” reads a headline on the OK! website. The accompanying story says, “Khloe Kardashian just has not learned her lesson yet when it comes to finding the right man! And her friends are more than concerned that her latest boyfriend will continue to lead her down the wrong path.” It’s further said, “While sources say the relationship is not serious, Khloe is known for investing too much energy into whoever she is dating. And the 25-year-old may be another bad choice!”
From there, the magazine picks up a report from fellow tabloid Heat, which quotes a source as saying, “Tristan is on the road more often than not. And that gets in the way of the relationship, as Khloe knows well from dating so many basketball players.” Noting how Kardashian previously dated NBA player James Harden, the alleged snitch goes on, “She can’t seem to break the pattern. Her friends are trying to help Khloe stop making the same mistakes, but she won’t listen to them.”
The real issue, however, is said to be Kardashian’s lingering feelings for estranged husband Lamar Odom. OK! says, “So for the time, she is using her latest beau to help her get over her heartache.” The Heat tipster adds, “Tristan’s just a short-term fix.”
Well, first off, any truly “concerned” friends of Kardashian would not be talking to a tabloid like Heat, or even OK! for that matter. Second, Kardashian is aware that her relationship with Thompson may be “short-term.” She is not rushing into anything.
And that’s why there isn’t actually any real concern. Kardashian isn’t planning on marrying Thompson. She’s having a fun fling, to which she’s certainly entitled. All that’s going on here with these reports is the magazines needed a sensational angle for Kardashian and Thompson’s romance. Apparently it’s far easier beating up on the reality star than simply leaving her alone and letting things run their course.
