Katie Holmes, Jamie Foxx “Married” Claim NOT True

Katie Holmes Jamie Foxx Married

(OK!)

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are NOT getting married, despite a fabricated cover story from one of this week’s new tabloids. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s “100 percent not true.”

According to OK!, Holmes and Foxx are ready to make their supposed “hush-hush courtship” official and are planning a wedding ceremony for later this year. The magazine says the two have kept their romance a secret because Holmes and Tom Cruise’s divorce settlement forbid her from publicly dating until 2017, a claim Gossip Cop already debunked. The outlet then alleges Foxx got Cruise to end this supposed contract early, quoting a questionable source as saying, “He called Tom and told him that he loved Katie, and that he thought being in a stable family would be best for Suri too.”

The repeatedly discredited magazine next provides a list of supposed details about Foxx and Holmes’ nonexistent wedding, describing everything from the celebrity guests who will attend, the type of dress the actress will wear, the hired entertainment and more. “She and Jamie both want to make sure it’s a fun, lighthearted event, with no stuffiness or formality,” adds the tabloid’s seemingly phony source. “They want it to be a party! When Katie married Tom, she barely had say in anything… This ceremony will be a real reflection of her taste and creativity.”

Despite how many times Gossip Cop has debunked romance rumors about Foxx and Holmes, we still checked in with spokespersons for both stars to get to the bottom of these latest marriage claims. Holmes’ rep exclusively assures us the tabloid’s story is “100 percent not true,” while Foxx’s rep tells Gossip Cop the report is a “complete fabrication,” and he’s simply “not getting married.” In fact, this latest concocted article comes from the same tabloid Gossip Cop previously exposed for its false cover story that wrongly alleged Holmes and Foxx were having a baby girl. Obviously, no such bundle of joy ever arrived, and there will be no wedding bells in their future either.
