Christian Cuevas received a standing ovation for “How Am I Supposed To Live Without You” during Monday’s season 11 premiere of “The Voice.” Watch below!

The 20-year-old son of the late Puerto Rican performer Julio Cuevas was only a few words into his performance when Adam Levine and Blake Shelton both hit their buttons. He continued to beautifully belt out Michael Bolton’s classic ballad, prompting Alicia Keys to turn around, too. By the end, both Levine and Shelton were on their feet.

“I am absolutely hypnotized by this guy’s personality coming through,” Shelton said afterward, noting that Cuevas has “a voice that doesn’t sound like anybody else.” He added, “You sold me dude.” And he sold Keys, too, who told him, “I really felt you.”

“You got it or you don’t got it, and you got it. I really, really felt you, man,” she said. And Levine told the aspiring star, “The emotional, sincere way that you were singing and the thick incredible quality of your voice, I couldn’t be more excited to turn around and watch how you engaged this room… It just blew my mind.”

But it was Keys who scored Cuevas for her team! Check out the video below.
