Brad Pitt is NOT retiring from Hollywood, despite a purely speculative and inaccurate webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”
The actor recently traveled to Croatia where he toured the proposed project site for a $1.5 billion dollar luxury resort. It was reported Pitt might possibly invest in this new real estate development, which is still in its very early stages. But Celeb Dirty Laundry has now twisted Pitt’s endeavor into a story about the actor supposedly leaving show business. Without a single source to back up its bogus claim, the site claims Pitt is “no longer interested in Hollywood and filmmaking,” and now “looking to retire from the limelight altogether.”
The webloid goes on to make the ridiculous assertion Pitt “knows that his days in Hollywood are numbered” and “already has one foot out the door when it comes to filmmaking.” Only, the actor has a handful of movies already in post-production and will soon be shooting a sequel to World War Z. Additionally, Pitt is a busy producer with his own production company, Plan B Entertainment, which has dozens of projects in various states of development. And, of course, his involvement in a real estate project is not an indication of him retiring from the movie business.
Regardless of the webloid’s baseless story not including a single source, Gossip Cop still checked in with a reliable Pitt insider, who exclusively tells us he simply isn’t retiring from Hollywood. We’re assured the site’s entire story is simply “not true.”
