Bastille performed in a special concert on Friday’s “Today” show. Watch below!

It may be September, but with the temperature in New York expected to reach 92 today, the NBC morning show hasn’t given up on staging outdoor concerts just yet. As they did all summer long, “Today” hosted a concert right outside its studio in Rockefeller Plaza. And Bastille definitely got the crowd pumping to kick off the weekend.

The group consists of four members, Dan Smith, Kyle Simmons, Will Farquarson Chris “Woody” Wood, though they were also joined for the live performance by touring musician Charlie Barnes. Together they performed “Good Grief,” which came out in June.

Of course, the group is best known for “Pompeii,” which was a single on Bastille’s 2012 debut album Bad Blood, shot the band into the mainstream in late 2013. The track peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100 in early 2014, and a remix of the song even earned a Grammy nomination in 2015. They were also nominated for Best New Artist.

Since then, however, the group has yet to replicate that success. Things could change, though, with the release of the new album Wild World, which drops today. Smith posted on Instagram on Thursday, “…and 3 years later, we’re really excited to be putting out our second album tomorrow. It’s the culmination of a lot of work and we are massively proud of it, but mainly excited to see what you all think.”
