Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from husband Brad Pitt.
Jolie cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the couple's split in paperwork she filed on Monday, according to TMZ, which first reported news of the filing.
The actress has asked for physical custody of their children, per the outlet.
According to the Associated Press, Robert Offer, an attorney for Jolie said "the health of the family," was behind the decision.
Brad and Angelina officially married in August 2014.
The actors are parents to Maddox, 15; Pax, 12; Zahara, 11; Shiloh, 10; and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8.
Reps for the actors didn't immediately respond to requests for comment from Access Hollywood on Tuesday morning.
