Hello, she was just kidding! Adele told fans during a New York City concert that she couldn’t care less about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s recent split despite having dedicated an earlier show to the former couple.
"I would like to say I think it's a bit sick you're reporting on an absolute joke. I don't care if they've broken up. I couldn't give a f--king s--t," she told fans at Madison Square Garden during her Thursday, September 22, stop on her 25 Tour. “I don’t care. I don’t know them.”
The powerhouse vocalist, 28, went on to say that she couldn’t believe how much attention her former comments about Brangelina’s demise received.

"It's ridiculous, what's going on in the world,” she scoffed, “and that's front-page news."
As previously reported, the British songbird gave the world-famous pair a shout-out mid-performance at Tuesday night’s concert in the Big Apple.
“Let's not ignore the elephant in the room. Did everybody hear about Brad and Angelina?” the “Rolling in the Deep” singer quipped to the audience. "It feels like the end of an era, so I'm dedicating this show tonight to them."

"I know — I don't like all the gossip, and personal lives are private," she admitted. But she added, "I woke up this morning, and I was shocked."
Though Adele’s remarks may have been facetious, another notable name offered a heartfelt response to Pitt and Jolie’s parting of ways: Yep, none other than the Dalai Lama himself.

“Sometimes with divorced people — it’s the children. They become closer to their father or mother. Sometimes it’s difficult,” the spiritual leader said. “I think that may sort of harm their deep sort of experiences or [psychologically] like that.”
