What do we have here? A whole lot of menacing laughs! While on the set of Suicide Squad, Jared Leto — aka the Joker — never, ever broke character, his costars Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman, Adam Beach and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje reveal to Us Weekly Video.

“I walked by him and I was like, ‘Hey!’ and he was like, ‘Hee hee hee! Hello there,’” says Kinnaman, whose character Captain Rick Flag leads a pack of criminals in the flick, now in theaters. “Then he’d do some creepy laugh. I was like, ‘You do you, Mr. J. You do you!’ Who knows, he might still be in character! Him playing Jared Leto is actually the character.”
Indeed, Leto’s dedication to evil was rather impressive, says Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who plays Killer Croc. “I would see him in the morning with his green hair, doing pull-ups!”

Clay EnosBut when it comes to choosing sides, Davis prefers to align herself with the Joker’s nemesis. “Women love Batman!” the Oscar winner says of the Caped Crusader, played by Ben Affleck. “The mask. The car. He’s got his own pad!”
Still, in this comic book thriller, villains reign supreme. Joining Leto, Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Beach in their anarchy: Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Will Smith (Deadshot), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Karen Fukuhara (Katana) and Jay Hernandez (El Diablo).
