Vanessa Hudgens did NOT have a “wardrobe malfunction” at the grocery store, despite a sensational report. The false story was designed as clickbait for a certain blog to score traffic.

That blog is MediaTakeOut, which blares on its homepage, “WHOOPS!! Actress Vanessa Hudgens Had A WARDROBE MALFUNCTION At The Supermarket… But… Did She Do This ON PURPOSE!!” Naturally, readers have to click on the post to get the details and see the pictures. The accompanying article states, “Actress and singer Vanessa Hudgens shows off some serious skin while shopping with a friend at Ralphs in Los Angeles, California, on Aug. 16. She realized after reaching for something that her shorts were exposing her butt.”

“Vanessa quickly reacted by pulling them back down to adjust, but not before the paparazzi managed to sap a few pics,” continues the webloid. “Hmmm… that was a little TOO CONVENIENT. Almost like she staged the pics.”

Except Hudgens’ butt was NOT exposed. Heck, she wasn’t even wearing shorts. As the pictures clearly show, part of her jumper rose up, revealing her upper thigh and the slightest hint of a butt cheek. Such rising routinely happens when women wear dresses.

And it’s a stretch to call this one a “wardrobe malfunction” when the pictures are less revealing than a bikini shot. Furthermore, the notion that Hudgens did this on “purpose” and “staged” the photos is ridiculous. This is a star that had a very real and very embarrassing nude photo scandal… twice. She is not going to purposefully expose herself to paparazzi.

MediaFakeOut just wanted to mislead readers to score traffic. It’s false clickbait, plain and simple.
