The warrant for Tyga’s arrest is canceled. On Friday, a California judge rescinded the order.

As Gossip Cop reported, the judge originally issued a warrant for Tyga’s arrest after he was a no-show for a court hearing on Tuesday. He was expected to submit to an interview about his finances in regards to an outstanding $480,000 judgment owed to a former landlord, who had sued him for unpaid rent and damages to a Malibu property. Lawyers were particularly angered that Tyga recently purchased a $200,000 car for girlfriend Kylie Jenner, money they argued should have been going to the settlement.

Tyga was in Turks and Caicos celebrating Jenner’s birthday at the time the order was signed. He faced being taken into custody by police upon his return to the United States. But on Thursday, the two parties reached a new settlement agreement, and the performer paid up.

It’s not clear how much money was exchanged, and if Tyga had the amount all along, or had to scrounge it up. But the landlord’s attorneys went back to court on Friday to share that the situation had been amicably resolved. And while the judge still could’ve kept the warrant in effect as punishment for Tyga’s failure to show up earlier in the week, it was recalled. Now he can return to the U.S. without the risk of facing arrest.
