The upcoming sixth season of MTV’s “Teen Wolf” will be its last, but the show is NOT ending because the cast supposedly demanded big raises, despite an inaccurate tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this story. We’re told it’s “completely not true.”

It was announced last month at San Diego Comic-Con that MTV’s popular horror series will conclude with a 20-episode sixth season, which is set to premiere in November. And now Star is claiming the stars of the show, including Tyler Posey, Dylan O’Brien, Crystal Reed and Holland Roden, are the ones responsible for its conclusion. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, the actors had gotten “a little big for their britches” and started “asking for ludicrous amounts of money for the seventh season.”

The magazine’s dubious insider further claims, “Execs said that if they’d given everyone the raises they wanted, there wouldn’t have been enough left in the budget to make the show.” The supposed “tipster” adds, “If fans are angry, they should blame the cast, not MTV.” However, a source connected to the MTV show exclusively tells Gossip Cop the cast’s contract negotiations played no part in the reason for the series coming to an end. We’re assured the outlet’s entire report is “completely not true.”
