Simon Biles celebrated her Olympics gold medal on Friday’s “Today” show. Watch below!
As Gossip Cop reported, Biles won gold in the individual gymnastics all-around final on Thursday, while fellow Team USA member Aly Raisman took silver. Together they appeared live on the morning program, along with the rest of their team mates. They previously won gold in the team gymnastics all-around final earlier this week.
Biles now admitted, “As soon as I woke up yesterday I walked into Ali’s room and I said, ‘I have a really good feeling about today,’ and she said, ‘me, too.'” For Raisman, the event also marked redemption after a tie-breaker at the 2012 games left her without a medal. “It was a very special moment I’ll never ever forget,” she said of coming in second.
Watching from the stands was team mate Gabby Douglas, who praised Biles and Raisman for doing an “amazing job.” She further called the competition “phenomenal” to watch. And now the “Final Five,” as they’re called, will get to see themselves somewhere else.
During the appearance, Biles unveiled a box of Kellogg’s Special K Red Berries that features all the girls right on the front. That should certainly make grocery shopping a surreal, but cool experience. Check out the full video below!
