Selena Gomez is NOT “lonely” or on a “downward spiral,” despite an untrue tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s “false.”

According to Life & Style, the singer’s friends are worried about her allegedly “bizarre behavior.” A so-called “insider” tells the magazine, “She’s been through phases before when she parties too much, but this isn’t like that. She’s so thin and has this energy of sadness around her. It’s alarming. We’ve never seen her like this before.”

The tabloid’s questionable source further claims Gomez has been acting “extremely needy” lately, specifically in regard to trying to find a boyfriend. The magazine’s “insider” says the singer is obsessing over finding a man, and “even put together a ‘vision board,’ showing what she’s looking for in a guy. She wants someone young, successful and creative, but musicians and actors are banned.”

The outlet’s supposed “insider” goes on to allege Gomez has developed an eating disorder in her effort to find a boyfriend, saying, “She wants to lose weight to attract the perfect guy.” Despite how mean-spirited and seemingly phony the magazine’s report sounds, Gossip Cop still checked in with a source close to Gomez, who exclusively tells us the entire tale is simply “false.” We’re assured the singer is doing well, and this is simply a non-story.

Of course, Gossip Cop has repeatedly busted Life & Style for publishing inaccuracies about Gomez, so this latest fabrication comes as no surprise. We recently corrected the outlet for wrongly reporting Gomez was trying to date Calvin Harris. And shortly before that, Gossip Cop debunked the magazine’s tale about Gomez and Kourtney Kardashian “at war” over Justin Bieber. There’s simply no truth to any of these claims.
