Are Kendall Jenner and Kim Kardashian “secretly feuding” over Vogue? A new report claims the sisters are “at war” after the model scored the cover of the September issue. Gossip Cop can separate the fact from the fiction in this story.
“Sisters At War! Kendall & Kim Secretly Feuding Over ‘Vogue’ Cover,” reads a Friday headline on RadarOnline, with the accompanying story saying, “Kim Kardashian does NOT like to share the spotlight! And now that her Keeping up with the Kardashians half-sister, Kendall Jenner, landed the coveted cover of Vogue magazine this month, RadarOnline.com has learned she is NOT happy!” A so-called “insider” is quoted as saying, “Kim threw some major shade at Kendall! Kim seems to feel very threatened by Kendall.”
How so? The site doesn’t say. In what way did Kardashian throw “major shade” at Jenner? That’s not in the article, either. Instead, there’s vague speculation about Kardashian “getting revenge.” The alleged tipster says, “Kim used to be closer to Kendall when they were younger, but not anymore. It seems like she will forever be jealous of her success!”
Uh, not quite. The siblings have actually bonded over Jenner’s career milestone. In fact, the model said on Thursday that Kardashian was one of only two people in their large family that she told about scoring the cover position.
And when the issue was released, Kardashian gushed on Instagram, “September Issue of Vogue!!!!!!! Yesss @kendalljenner True fan girl moment seeing my sister achieve her goals to the highest!!! Get it baby girl!!!!! #GenerationK.” Even her husband Kanye West posted the cover on Twitter Friday night, tweeting, “So Proud.”
This alleged “feud” over the achievement is simply made up. And it’s not the first time RadarOnline has manufactured such a story. It was just one day ago that the site falsely claimed Kardashian and frenemy Taylor Swift were feuding over Vogue. Time for the site to find a new angle.
