'Game of Homes' and 'The Incredible Food Race' are set to premiere in September.
Discovery Family Channel has added two shows to its lineup.
Game of Homes, hosted by Cameron Mathison, follows four teams of amateur home renovators as they attempt to save dilapidated houses that are marked to be torn down and revive them room by room into their dream homes.
The twist? Before the competition, the houses were lifted off their foundations and transferred to massive barges, where the teams will renovate the structures while living inside their homes.
The teams will be judged by experts Cheryl Torrenueva and Jeremy MacPherson along with celebrity guest judges who vote for their favorite room renovations based on design and workmanship. One team will ultimately win the house they renovated.
The eight-episode series premieres at 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6.
Meanwhile, The Incredible Food Race is a competition in which two families take part in a race of food challenges plus a main event: a family vs. family cook-off in an outdoor stadium. The winning family gets free groceries for a year.
Food Race, a six-part series, premieres at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7.
The show is produced by Tricon Films & Television with Andrea Gorfolova, Jameel Bharmal and Marc Kell Whitehead as executive producers.
This marks the U.S. premieres for both series, which have aired in Canada and Latin America.
