Britney Spears pranked Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday’s episode of his late-night talk show in a segment featuring her waking up the host while he was sleeping in his bedroom. One inside his bedroom, Spears gave him a private musical performance. Watch the funny video below!
Along with a camera crew and several shirtless male backup dancers, one of whom was covered in lights, the singer snuck into Kimmel’s home in the middle of the night and treated him to a rendition of her new single “Make Me.” As Spears and her crew began performing, a dazed and confused Kimmel arose from his slumber and stared at the spectacle in front of him, unsure what to make of it at first.
Earlier on Wednesday, Spears announced her new album, Glory, which will be available on August 26. “Make Me” is the first single off the record. To date, the track has reached number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100.
As Gossip Cop reported, Rihanna similarly pranked Kimmel by barging into his bedroom on April Fools’ Day in 2015. At the time, she woke him the sleeping talk show host with a performance of her song “Bitch Better Have My Money.”
Kimmel teased Spears’ new segment earlier on Wednesday by tweeting, “Pranked in my sleep again. @BritneySpears & @Rihanna must be working together.” Watch Spears prank an unsuspecting Kimmel in the video below!
