Tom Hiddleston’s PR team is not trying to have him break up with Taylor Swift, despite a wholly made-up and inaccurate report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this falsehood. We’re told the story is complete “garbage.”

According to the often unreliable Celeb Dirty Laundry, Hiddleston’s publicity team is “doing everything in their power to push Taylor Swift away, hoping they break up.” The repeatedly discredited webloid alleges the actor’s career will go south “if he doesn’t cut Taylor Swift loose from his life.” The site then claims Hiddleston wanted to bring Swift to Comic-Con in San Diego, but his press reps “banned her” because they were supposedly afraid she would detract from the media coverage of his upcoming movie Kong: Skull Island.

Next, the webloid states without any proof that everything “Swift does is clearly for attention,” while Hiddleston isn’t the kind of actor who seeks attention. “It will only be a matter of time before these two call it quits” because of Hiddleston’s PR team, alleges the site.

Quite glaringly, the CDL story is missing evidence, quotes from insiders, or any other type of proof. Instead, it’s a collection of inaccurate rumors and manufactured claims. For starters, Swift was never “banned” from attending Comic-Con with Hiddleston. Gossip Cop was first to debunk that false allegation. The singer didn’t go because she had no reason nor planned to be at the annual convention, where Hiddleston was busy promoting his new film.

As opposed to the blog, Gossip Cop actually looked into these claims. A source close to Hiddleston assures us that his PR team is not trying to get the actor to break up with Swift. Gossip Cop is exclusively told the webloid’s report is utter “garbage.”
