Mat Franco returned to “America’s Got Talent” on Tuesday for the first live results show of season 11. Check out the video below!
As Gossip Cop has reported, Franco won season 9 of the “AGT” competition in 2014. His magic tricks and charming personality won over the judges week after week. And, of course, he ended up winning over America, too.
Franco went on to headline his own Las Vegas show last year called “Mat Franco: Magic Reinvented Nightly.” He also returned to the show that launched his career. Franco appeared on “AGT” with a new magic trick last August, and then returned to “AGT” again in September to join magician contestant Piff The Magic Dragon in the finale.
Franco’s success was also rewarded with an NBC TV special called “Mat Franco’s Got Magic.” Of course, this latest “AGT” appearance included a new trick, too. It involved what he called the “most difficult” type of magic: “pure, sleight of hand manipulation.”
As for this year’s competition, NFL player Jon Dorenbos is definitely one to watch. As Gossip Cop reported, he received a standing ovation from the entire panel for his magic on Tuesday’s show. But as the competition is only in the quarterfinals, it remains to be seen if Dorenbos can go the distance. Watch video of Franco’s new bit below!
