Lindsay Lohan has not called off her engagement to Egor Tarabasov, according to Michael Lohan, who reasons she wouldn’t end things so quickly with her fiance, especially if she’s pregnant. On Tuesday night, the New York Post claimed the actress had split from Tarabasov following Lindsay’s accusations that he cheated on her.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, after calling him out on social media for being with a “Russian hooker,” Lindsay and Tarabasov had a fight on Sunday morning that became so intense the police came to their London home. But the actress’ father tells Gossip Cop people shouldn’t believe breakup claims “unless Lindsay says it herself.” Michael adds that Lindsay is the type of person who tries to make things work, even when there are problems.
After telling Gossip Cop that Lindsay had texted him that she was pregnant, he noted, “If she’s pregnant, I find it hard to believe she’d end it so quickly without giving Egor a chance to go to rehab and redeem himself. Lindsay is a very dedicated and loving person.” “I don’t think she’s ever turn my back on someone that quickly,” shared Michael.
As Gossip Cop also reported, Lindsay apologized on Instagram on Tuesday for publicly airing her dirty laundry with Tarabasov. She explained, “I was acting out of fear and sadness,” adding, “We all make mistakes. Sadly mine have always been so public.” Lindsay further expressed, “Maybe things can be fixed. Maybe not. I hope they can.” Tarabasov has still not commented himself.
Lohan and Tarabasov got engaged in April. They dated for eight months before he popped the question in London. While there are reports their engagement is off, Gossip Cop cannot confirm those claims, and for the time being is relying on Michael Lohan saying they’re not over and Lindsay herself offering that “things can be fixed.”
