Kristen Stewart did NOT warn Robert Pattinson ahead of time that she’d be professing her love for Alicia Cargile in an interview, despite a made-up webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”

As Gossip Cop reported, Stewart talked about her girlfriend in an Elle UK interview, noting she’s “really in love” with Cargile. And now according to HollywoodLife, the actress wanted to let her ex-boyfriend know beforehand that she’d be making the revelation. A so-called “source” tells the webloid, “Kristen gave Rob a heads up about the interview and he was very supportive. He told her he was proud of her.”

But Gossip Cop checked in with a reliable source close to the situation, who exclusively tells us the outlet’s claim is “not true.” Stewart and Pattinson are on good terms, but the two simply don’t check in with each other before talking about their personal lives in interviews. The Twilight co-stars have now been broken up four years and both have moved on, despite HollywoodLies’ inability to do so.

As you may recall, Gossip Cop previously corrected the webloid when it wrongly reported Pattinson expressed his opinion about Stewart’s relationship with Soko when she was briefly dating the singer. Gossip Cop also called out HollywoodLies for falsely asserting Stewart was upset about Pattinson and FKA Twigs getting engaged. This latest tale in the outlet’s ongoing saga involving the former couple is equally untrue.
