Is Kelly Osbourne writing a “scathing tell-all” about her family? A new report claims her upcoming memoir is less about life lessons and more about hitting out at her famous parents. Gossip Cop looked into the allegation, and here’s what we found out.
According to Star, Osbourne has a “poison pen plot” after she “suddenly decided to write a scathing tell-all about her family.” A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “Kelly is hoping a scandalous book will get her back in the limelight.” It’s said she will write “how her ‘control freak’ mom, Sharon, browbeats her over her appearance, and it will of course include dish on dad Ozzy’s affairs — and maybe on Sharon’s ‘activities’ as well.”
“Selling your family out is a pretty desperate move. Sharon is apoplectic,” claims the supposed snitch, with the magazine alleging that Osbourne is “willing to rattle her relationship with her parents if it means getting back in the headlines.” The outlet’s tipster adds, “Kelly is desperate.”
Well, certainly not as desperate as a tabloid that’s routinely caught telling tall tales about celebrities. It is true that Osbourne is working on a book, as announced last month, but a rep exclusively tells Gossip Cop that “none” of the Star details about it are accurate. “She has her family’s blessings for the book and it’s absolutely not a scathing tell-all about her family,” says the spokesperson.
And far from Osbourne’s plans causing a family rift, she actually posted an Instagram photo this week of flowers sent by her supportive parents. Check it out below.
