Katy Perry promoted the first commercial on Sunday for her “CoverGirl Katy Kat Collection,” which is at the center of a lawsuit. In the ad, the singer publicizes her new lipsticks and Katy Kat Eye mascaras, which she notes come in “very Perry black” and “very Perry blue.” Watch the video below.

Perry, who can be seen in the commercial with cat-eye makeup and ears, tweeted a first-look at her “brand new @COVERGIRL commercial for the #KATYxCOVERGIRL collection,” along with video of the 30-second ad. As Gossip Cop reported a little more than a week and a half ago, Hard Candy sued the parent company of makeup giant CoverGirl, Procter & Gamble, for trademark infringement, alleging the logo for Perry’s line, which includes two lipsticks and 13 mascaras, is based on Hard Candy’s similar-looking design.

As seen at the 25-second mark of the commercial, CoverGirl’s logo has a heart shape in between Perry’s name in capital letters and the word “CoverGirl.” Hard Candy contends in its suit that Proctor & Gamble ripped off its more than 10-year-old logo, which has the all-capped words “Hard” and “Candy” separated by a heart symbol. Clearly, CoverGirl maintains it is not infringing on its competitor’s trademark because the new Perry “Katy Kat Collection” commercial features the logo at issue.
